Evil heatwave gone?

Heatwave seems to be lifting at last, about damn time after two
weeks of 30-plus C every day, almost impossible to sleep at
night, and aircon at work pumping out hot air half the time.

Work, silly word, even sillier place. Got to go back there
tomorrow. Why aren't weekends longer?

Falken will be here on Thurs, panic, not sure there's enough
bacon in the flat (or in London) to feed the fussy boy...good
thing his gf will eat just about anything.
